He’s not tho he’s being forced he doesn’t want to be with him and has been having the conflict of the mating bond, pheromones, his son and his medical issues not to mention the other things like status, money, power, legality, and his situation he has no choice and basically been kidnapped if he does end up having feelings it would resemble Stockholm syndrome more than love
These stories obviously annoy us plenty because the plots feel overdone, the ml is a jerk and then by the end of the story he's still a jerk but now has a shojo filter around him. BUT I CANNOOTTT. I can't stand mc's that have no backbone !!! Obviously he struggles and doesn't want what's happening to him but as soon as I see the mc's start wavering not even half way through the story I'm like
