Even if he sells him out, it's not guaranteed that his grandma will be saved, considering how suspicious that guy was. Dan will just feel even more terrible with guilt and blame himself, given his personality.
His Grandma can't be saved. The Cancer is too far advanced. Bringing her into the conversation was a really low blow. He's a jerk for even doing that.
