I think it's normal wanting that, I mean, All the characters are in the age of wanting to, and so are some readers. It's inevitable not to want a little bit more of them showering eachother with affection after their slow burn relationship development. Plus, the more progress we see in these 2 sets of couples, the more we want that to happen even if they are minors (I must add that they don't even look that young either, but yeah they are considered minors/adolescents)
Also, the author wants us to want that too sometimes, so cruel(≧∀≦)... Let's not forget that, at the end of the day, it won't ever happen because it's a Shonen Ai ╮(￣▽￣)╭

also ppl have to realize not every story needs smut and not every author/creator is comfortable with drawing that. making sex jokes and tension is different than actually drawing the scenes!!

Yes according to the timeline from the start of the story, they’re currently middle schoolers. I always have to take a double-take to make sure I didn’t miss out on some time skip, but at this point it’s starting to become a plot hole (they look too old).
