Being on the same family registry in China is not reason enough. A friend was explaining some of Chinese culture to me & said historically, it wasn't uncommon for gay couples to be "adopted" into the family as a way to have socially acceptable gay couples...to an extent. Being LGBTQ+ is dangerous in China.

The fact that they grew up together as brothers, though, is a bit...much. It's not like the stepsisters in Citrus, who didn't meet until high school as complete strangers.

im chinese, and that situation is different. that situation they are a couple, met as a couple and only adopted each other to have some sort of inheritance thing and also be able to see eo in hospitals. this is diff, this is incest. blondie LITERALLY sees his brother AS HIS BROTHER.

I'm aware. I didn't acknowledge anything beyond acknowledging that them being on the same family registry NOT being out of the ordinary.

Don't add context that isn't there.

YOU should add context that should be there. It is out of the ordinary in this case.

The literal context of my original response works.
