Yup.. Yup.. I guess that's why Hess can somewhat tolerate helios, cz he is apologetic for the past.. But she still gets annoyed and frustrated at him cz till the end, helios can't stop dragging and involving Kael in his probs with Diana..
I havent read the novel so forgive me if Im wrong but-
As crappy as Helios is I don't think he would stoop so low as to propose an romantic relationship with Kaels wife. His problem is that he is a simp for his manipulative wife and he doesn't want to go against her for the sake of his friend even after benefitting from his help. He married Diana because he loved her but he sees how Hestia loves Kael and realizes that Diana didn't feel the same for him. If Diana wasn't manipulative then he would not feel the same.He still wants to love Diana even after she loses her abilities. But Diana doesn't love him.
Diana married him because she wants to be the center of attention. What disturbed her more than the fact that Kael was going to kill himself was that Hestia could see the future so she wasn't "the one" anymore.
It's hard for me to hate Helios the way I hate Diana because he knows what he did was wrong and he is apologetic. Diana still feels justified doing what she did . Now she wants Kael to leave Hestia so she can be the main character again.
