ML means male lead and MC means main character :D

Main character in this sense is Naoto because the story revolves around him and so he's the MC. Male lead usually means the partner of the main character. If hazuki is a girl, we would say female lead instead of ML. Usually refers to the partner of the main character.

I love scenes like this where mc and ml really fight/bicker and do not hold back on what they want to say instead of just making it bottled up in a long-ass monologue. It feels realistic especially if they’re a married couple.
