Ian clearly loves TJ and TJ loves Ian back. I hope Jo finds somebody else. I am like, what is he doing in all this? The reason Ian is with him is bc his eyes reminded him of how TJ used to look at him. Please, set Jo free!

Wow really? I thought it was just cuz Jo wasn’t part of the gangster life? I mean what your saying also kinda makes sense and maybe there were some hints but do u have a specific chap where it says/hints at this?

Hey! Chapter 36 when Jo says he likes Ian. Ian reminds of the “obsessive look” TJ used to have. He basically thinks about TJ when Jo is confessing his feelings.

Love is... one way to put it
I would say lust for each other or trauma binded

I think it's more like trauma bonding rather than love. Ian clearly loves both TJ and Jo, but because jo gives him that stability that he needs he doesn't know how to process it because it's not something he's used to unlike TJ where they have an unhealthy dynamic but it's the only thing he's used to which is why he constantly goes back to him

Well, unfortunately, I don’t think Ian went to therapy. What they show in the manga is that Ian prioritizes TJ over Jo, and that he thinks about TJ constantly. They can’t get rid of their relationship (even if it’s a trauma bonding). He “ended” things with TJ but was running after him after. TJ was also doing the same. TJ gave Ian the option of leaving but he wants to kill the guys who put TJ’s life in danger. Unfortunately, Jo cannot relate with everything Ian had gone through. Being with someone who can relate to your pain is a very powerful thing, it’s almost like a validation of this pain, like being seen. Ian and TJ don’t have a healthy relationship bc they don’t even know what that means. But it seems that they were there for each other consistently, in their fuck up way. It also seems odd to me that Jo, that has had a loving and stable upbringing, is being so obsessive towards Ian. What about loving yourself first? What about healthy boundaries? I find that very odd, love is not obsession as well. Ian and TJ have an explanation for the messiness, but not Jo. I would prefer to see Ian and TJ healing together at this point. Maybe couples therapy lol
