They're both bad tbh. I read roses and champagne manhwa too, but I haven't read the latest chapters this year. I would say, if Caesar claims to love the uke and do the ahole sh*t in the name of love, I'd say, I hate him more. Zhenya is a straight up psycho who doesn't even know his feelings. He grew up just like that with -761000 EQ.
As for the ending, TJ escaped from Zhenya. He went back to Korea, but Zhenya followed him and surprisingly became an ambassador of Russia in south Korea.
He's still emotionless psycho, but he was listening more to TJ. He doesn't physically harm him anymore, except during seggs where he bites him hard and his hands leave bruises to TJ's body. Overall, he did change, but the thing is, the author only showed the positive part and the sweet part. Like I said, I wanna see how Zhenya feel guilt towards TJ. He tried to kill him like twice, the first one, was kinda understandable cause they're enemies at that time and he was really trynna kill him. The second one was the nauseating one, cause the way TJ struggled was described so vividly . He was so pitiful. He tried to kill him because je couldn't understand why TJ tried to escape several times from his private island. He couldn't understand also why he's annoyed at the thought of TJ leaving, when he, Zhenya himself said he doesn't sleep with the same person twice. But at that point, he had already slept, no, r*ped TJ more than a gazillion times. In short, he was already developing feelings for him, but he doesn't know it because his EQ is even lower than the depths of hell, and he's annoyed that TJ ie leaving him.
In the end, TJ left with Zhenya's sister's help like I said.
Zhenya even got friendly with TJ's mom.i wonder how she would react if she knew what Zhenya did to his son? I mean, since Zhenya became an ambassador, every time he visits her, she is so friendly to him and even scolds TJ for being cold to Zhenya.
TJ also fell in love Zhenya, probably because he's seen the pitiful side of Zhenya. Like I said, they're a match. No one can handle Zhenya. Same with TJ. It's just a pity that Zhenya has a screw loose. It didn't have to be Stockholm syndrome if they had met as real allies. I would say, they would've fallen in love anyway, regardless if they're enemies or allies.

.. If TJ falled for him, I suposose there must be at least one scene where they do it romantically, or with consent? I mean, without Zhenya straightforwardly having to force himself to TJ? Genuinely curious... don't tell me there is non romantic scene!? Are all are all rapy Σ(っ°Д °;)っ??

Wait, sorry for the misunderstanding, he did leave Zhenya when he escaped from him from Zhenya's private island in Russia, but when Zhenya came to Korea and became the ambassador, they were still sleeping together. So in general, they were still a pair at the end.

The ending isn't when TJ escaped from Zhenya, but after that, when Zhenya became the ambassador. That's where he "changed."

Omg I just finished the novel and I agree wholeheartedly, like zhenya is a psycho but I feel like how he was established as already cruel it wasn’t a major surprise of what he did (compared to caesar at least bc I had no novel spoilers and I was like ) I genuinely loved how he changed and got ig “softer” with TJ. He’s still fucked and a part of me will always dislike him but hey, if TJ is happy I’m happy
Yeah. Zhenya is literally just a big puppy raised as a an alpha wolf. Bogdanov family is quite eccentric and not exactly the ideal environment for a kid to properly grow. If he and TJ grew uo together, we have 1 less psycho in the world. But alas

It's full of r*pe.
The thought of falling in love with someone who r*ped me is so disgusting. BUT, with how the story developed, I couldn't blame TJ for falling in love with Zhenya. They were each other's match, but they just started sooo bad because of how Zhenya was raised as a person. After all, they were technically enemies, so it just makes sense that Zhenya would want to beat TJ up. I could stomach that, more than someone who claims to love someone and is cheating or physically harming them. Every time Zhenya tries to kill TJ, I feel like puking, but the thing is, he doesn't know his own feelings. He could only express them through seggs.
Overall, I'm not that satisfied with the ending. I want to see Zhenya to become more human. I want hkm to feel the guilt when he hurt TJ before. I want him to see the long term effect of him physically harming TJ and feel guilty, and that guilt will change him gradually. But nope, there's none of that.
The sexual tension was good though and Zhenya's character wasn't just a made up seggs addict psycho just cause the author wants him to be.
