It is the worse. If it is extremely bad you should quit but often you dont have the courage to take that step. The best things you can do then is to apply to be part-time or take some leave whilst you look for a new job, something to study or hell even a plan for a vacation.
Starting wellness hobbies that align with yoir interests that you have lost. Doing something that is a change of pace. All of these help but most importantly speaking to a therapist.
Nacchan's situation hits home. Burnout is treacherous tbh and it just happens out of nowhere. Idk how to get back on track as well but I'm sure I am not happy with my current work. I should quit.
