I think his ability has something to do with taking people’s remaining life, like we have seen how when he uses his ability people die but they have no visible wounds or anything and also he has been alive for centuries now so I think he takes people’s remaining years of their life ( originally for that long that they were supposed to live ) and adds it into his life ( sorry for the bad explanation but do you get what I mean)

Make sense. And maybe he could only take those life from the people who have committed a crime of some sort, bcuz that's technically a punishment for them from him, Crime and Punishment as his ability called. Just adding into ur theory tho
Wow this also makes a lot of sense like technically everyone has committed at least one crime and as we know crime can be anything be it petty theft or littering or vandalism those are crimes only so it could be like a u said take life from those people who have committed any crime so basically he can take life from anyone
His ability name is most likely Crime and Punishment. It's probably undying, no matter how many times killed. Just like crime, never ceases no matter what the authorities do. wahahahhahahahhahahhahhaha
