He knows someone is trying to look into his past (and he tried it with yeonha's uncle too?) and doesn't want to make it seem like he is a different person. Like, if he couldn't pay off his dept till now, how could he do it in an istant? And no one knows he is into stocks...
So maybe he is slowly paying it back, not getting any other loans, so eventually it will disappear, right?
