Looking at it from the omega's perspective, ignorance is bliss.

well, waita minute. Uke was in-heat, right? So it was both of them losing control is what I read. The uke didn't take his suppressants, right? so the alpha lost it from the scent. Am I wrong? I didn'tg see any rape.

He THOUGHT he took them. But the alpha purposely trashed them knowing the uke thought he took them. That is rape.

No. I meant the first scene where they have sex

nuh uh. I just looked at it again. Right at the start the seme as narrator said, "It was and accident." The uke said that he had lost his suppressants at the opening, too. Later the seme told the uke, "I didn't plan to do that to you." There's nothing to refute the sincerety of those statements at the beginning of the story. Only at the end did the seme take the suppressants. Maybe the seme had been stealing the suppressants all along, but as the story reads now, it was an accident on both sides, not rape.

Also, for god's sake, the uke was in heat. It would have been more cruel to deprive him of sex at that point. This is an alternate universe. Our world's rules don't apply.

Nope. That is not how i belive it goes. He said he "lost" the suppressants, but the seme actually trashed them. The ending is actually a flashback of what happened. Proof of it is after nursing the uke (present) he goes to the kitchen and takes the trash out and the pills are already there. Therefore he was the one that trashed the pills BEFORE the "accident".

And the narrator keeps shifting from seme and uke so I believe the narrator that said "it was an accident" was the uke

And the sincerity is him just being a damn good actor. It was not an accident and he isn't

he trashed the medicine before they had sex. it was on purpose. the uke didn't know of it. that's indeed rape. also, what can possibly be crueler than FORCED heat and FAKE kindness?
