So Mo has to run the company till its stable enough. He might take a break frm work and help out running the mom's restaurant for a the trip period. That further ignites his passion for cooking even more and also rekindles his relation with MC. Now that the company is stable enough, maybe Mo will finally decide to open a restaurant while MC will use the letter of recommendation to get a good job again. I dont think he will join Mo in the restuarant as the best he can do is being a server.
MC had some trauma with relationships but the final panels seem to indicate he is healing and might just open the door for Mo. Thats probably what the author was trying to go for with this ending
