Plus it’s therapeutic to see someone else’s fucked up life cause it makes you feel better about YOUR fucked up life. I’m currently living on being like “my life is messed up but at least my best friend didn’t fake an affair with my bf in order to get me angry enough to do rough sex…” and it’s somehow working out in my brain that my life is shit but it could be worse!

"why continue reading if u don't like it?"
People can still consume and continue on associating themselves with a medium simply because they wanted to stick around and see how the story will end, and maybe in hopes that their feelings for it will change or to augment positively than before. (me to the former bcs of the side stories)
To the certain user I saw fighting with a bunch of other people in the comments... you're frustrated and annoyed at all the remarks and the comment section filled with negative regards every single update, I understand. However, you don't need to trouble yourself to try and change their own set of opinions towards the story; they won't think differently the way you wouldn't.
Isn't it actually impressive that the author managed to wring out so much out of this manhwa despite the hate? Because people are intrigued whether they liked it or not. People would pay and "waste" their time to read what happened next out of their own accord and that's very much fine. In the end, it's the author that's winning and benefitting out of all the chaos lol.
