They still have a loooooong loooooong way, hun. It would get realllyyyy realllyyyy EXTREMELY frustrating because Riftan would have no character development in that aspect for like the entire Book 1 and majority of Book 2 in the novel. You would be proud of Maxi though. Lil doll would have some backbone and fire as the story progresses.

when will we get to riftan finding out maxi’s back story before their marriage?? like girll this is taking too long plus this man overprotectiveness keeps pressing my buttons cuz in a way he views his wife as someone so unreliable and fragile that its borderline insulting (me personally)
