No I think what Penelope did was out of her selfish desires to leave this world, she never considered eclis feelings
If you are talking about how she saved eclis, even if Penelope didn't save him he would have been saved by her brother and had been given a respectful position
What Penelope did was to buy a slave dog fed him and wanted to act like a dog all his life without expecting anything else in return
Yeah I completely agree with you. I love Pen but she def had her selfish desires. She never meant to treat eclis as a human since the beginning. She wanted a dog and he wanted a savior but pen’s twisted way of toying with his feelings caused him to want a master and be obsessed. They are both victims of their environment and each other.
so like ppl keep complaining that penelope used eclis first and yes thats true, but my dudes understand that she also saved him and gave him the best of everything!
she fought with her family for him and made sure he was being treated right
so yea even if the argument is that they both used each other, penelope at least wasn’t purely selfish in her motives and helped eclis out ALOT, whereas that sonofabich only did what he wanted and didnt consider penelope’s feelings at all
