I dont think Jk will lose(even if i want him to), he will win in my opinion. BUT he will finally take the big blow on his shoulder which will cause the ultimate injury (his ankle is already fucked up but shoulder more important). this chapter proves that he absolutely lost all trust in Dan, there was not an ounce of trust on his face when he told dan not to touch him. He probably is going to fire dan.
And Dan is gonna take even more blows because he has absolutely nothing in his life, grandma will probably die and he will be at the rock bottom.
ergo Potato who will finally open his mouth and some other events that let jk know that nothing was Dan's fault and maybe we will go into the Jk-past-story and finally know WHAT caused his jinx or why he is such a fucking asshole. (My bet is that he is an unloved child and was bullied).
Meanwhile Dan will be in the most miserable state when JK will need him again.
