It's like you're playing a role playing or virtual reality game and then both the game and the world starts merging together. You merge with your character + skill and everything ( guessing the Mc doesn't fully merge with his, it's like two different personalities) while the game's map slowly merges or appears in the real world. Every kingdom appears in real life like other mangas with main plot on how dungeons and gate suddenly appear but for them, it's a game that they know so they're not that surprised.

The thing is, he never got to play. Instead, he drew and wrote down a character for the game. Totally went to town on it like any lil geek his age would do.

Fast forward to present. We don't know why (he doesn't either), MC becomes his character. My theory is, just like Gaon, MC became the last of the demon hunters so he effectively became part of the game. In the first place, he did design his character around the game so maybe whatever system it is recognized him as part of it.

I take it back. Re-read the fist chapters and he did play. Tho only a bit which is why his level is so low.

Yeah it pops up in real life. That's why when they get updates about an 'expansion,' it truly is a big deal. Like the previous kingdom where gluttony was. It's supposed to be rich in resources that's why people want to get in but not everybody can. Thus, people wanna befriend Lee Hoyeol coz he's close to the king.
