During those times it wasn't that easy. No one had a real choise in choosing their marriage partners and they couldn't really refuse since everything was so political and strategic and non-individualistic. Men during that time almost never stopped at just having a wife and be married to her. It was a matter of pride, starus a dynastic lineage to bed many. So whether he slept with a woman or a man, from the wife's perspective it shouldn't really matter. If they copulated enough to produce offspring then they both fulfilled their duty, because that's what marriage, and esp political marriage was all about
I hate that guy whose lover is a guy. He got a wife but neglected her, and her wife became what she is( of course I dislike her, but she's pitiful to have a husband like him). And that lover guy, I want to slap him; he knows that guy has a wife but still f**ks him.
