I feel like he thinks he's worse than he is haha.. Like just because he has possessive feelings he didn't really do anything to ''cage her in'' except to deny Eclipse to meet her after she died that first time. He also shared opinions about a bunch of stuff, but he didn't really stop her from doing anything.
I ended up liking the ending though, the story feels a bit dragging but the ending is nice. I love the male lead undying loyalty but at the same time his possessiveness is not always charming. Anyways for people complain about but the ML wants to caged her up, it's really explained in the next chapter lmao, whatever she said he will comply, so yeah there's no cage actually, i think he would do anything as long as she stay with him.
