I clarified this with someone else who was confused lol. Reread chapter 47 where minjae explains the entire thing:
Andy was friends with benefits with the teammate for a long time, and they would sleep with each other whenever either of them weren’t in a relationship. But neither of them were officially dating ever. The teammate introduced Andy to minjae. Then Andy chased after minjae for 3 years, until minjae finally gave in and they started dating. Then one day minjae caught Andy in the act of cheating with the teammate. That’s when he found out that the teammate and Andy were fuck buddies. Who went against their supposed agreement to only see each other when they’re single- by Andy sleeping with him when he has a bf.
The teammate then confronts minjae and says “you got in the way! I’ve been in love with Andy for a long time!” Minjae jokingly says that he may have been the one who intruded on them when that’s not at all true. Andy and the teammate were fwb at most and minjae and Andy were the ones in the real relationship. Andy chose to cheat on minjae with his fwb. The teammate was never dating or Andy’s bf.
