To be fair, what I like about Penelope tho is even though she needs those love interests she’s not a pushover. She will call them out on their bullshit even if it makes things harder for her
I mean penelope is in a virtual game they are nothing more than game characters for her plus she's trying to survive so being cruel is inevitable
the author/artist was told to wrap up the series in a limited number of allotted chapters. I honestly like ashtarte, she wasn't too calculating and cruel like so many fls are, only using and discarding love interests (looking at you, penelope), but she also wasn't stupidly forgiving, and held true to not forgiving her family for the neglect and abuse.
So many plot points that were set up didn't get their due time to resolve, and had to be discarded or resolved off screen. Shame, really. This would've been a good series to read fleshed out.
