my working theorys that he has alexithymia so in that case id say it makes more sense. interpreting fictional emotions will always be easier than real ones for people without any disorders, if he does have alexithymia then itd be even harder
that would be interesting. If the author doesn't present a good reason like this for him to be oblivious, It will be the only thing I will complain about it

I'm loving this manhwa, but if I were going to be nitpicking I'd say I don't like how he's a BL writer and (probably) BL reader but he's still very oblivious about romantic relationships.
oblivious is not the same thing as being aloof, he may be aloof, but for someone who reads and writes romance genre to not think "oh, I'm saying 'I like you' to this guy constantly and we're also fucking, maybe something more is going on, maybe he's catching feelings" feels very unrealistic (I know this isn't the right thing to say about a manhwa, but let me use it this time) and makes me unnecessarily annoyed with the MC.
and I know he thinks he's emotionally unavailable, but it would still make more sense if we, the readers, see the thought crossing through the MC's mind that his actions with ML could be interpreted as flirting.
