Yup
.
Whatever Jaekyung's character is(i trash, scumbag and all that), there's no denying he is an amazing athelete and what he achieved in this field was done fair and square and he worked his ass off to defend his title like 10 times. I also dont think he has really shown off or gloated about his title too ryt?
If he has to lose, better he loses on a good day(injury wise) to a better opponent rather than someone like Jumin who wud gloat over that win when it was done thru dirty methods. All that and he barely scraped a draw. Yeah he is getting slaughtered vs a fresh Jaek
I think this ch 100% confirmed that Mingwa has no intention of letting Jaekyung lose his title.
I mean everything was stacked against him. Dan's betrayal lingering in his head, his injured foot, his injured shoulder, his focus being a bit shaken coz Jumin seems to have a bad past with him and yet he managed to draw. This was the best opportunity to let him lose.
Sure a draw is a lose in Jaekyung's eyes and will be a huge blow to his ego and i guess author was going for this as a way to develop him further instd of using a lose?
On one hand, i want him to lose a match badly but also Jumin doesnt deserve a win either. If u have to win, atleast best him in a fair match like true athletes. Jaek may have a rotten personality but cant deny he is an amazing athelete and very professional
Jumin is dying in round 1 on their rematch if Jaek is fully recovered. Buddy barely managed to tie vs a very injured Jaek
