I also thought that his grandma dying is gonna be a breaking point where he will realiza he needs to look after himself more instead of always putting others first. Guess we'll see in future chapters! xD

Whats if Dans grandma dies next chapter and thats what gets Dan to leave. Really the only reason he is working for Jk was to help pay for her treatment and to pay off his debt. The two would be gone by then so he wouldnt have a reason tying him down anymore.
