Might be because I binged the first 23 chapters but the development of the MC and ML’s relationship felt pretty organic to me. She only started getting flustered a couple of chapters ago, when he asked her to call him by his name and she blushed before she even realized that she didn’t actually know his name
Personally I’m glad he’s not pushing it too hard or expecting her to like him just because of his looks. I’ve really enjoyed the way he’s approached the whole thing.
I see that. And I agree I’m glad they’re moving slowly and he’s not being pushy. Overall I’m interested to see how their dynamic develops since at the end of the day it’s a romance manga
While I enjoy the chemistry between the Empress and the MC I’m lowkey glad it’s not yuri. Their friendship is golden and I love women supporting women. Honestly, I’m not a fan of the romance in this plot, period. Like I wish the crown prince and her would become friends first or make it a painfully slow burn romance. Idk I just dont feel like they have chemistry yet. I’ll hang around and see how it develops but as of right now I’m not digging that part of the plot.
