Rurin is about 799-800 years old.
Most dragons live to be 3000-4000 years old, with special cases living to be 5000.
She acts different because she’s been confined for like the entirety of her life. She only explored the outside world/human world when she left with mc. She’s extremely codependent on mc,,

The red dragon gets more screen time. Elena, the elf, saves her life bc the red dragon was on the verge of death from an incident,, so the red dragon and elf are basically a pair since then.
Originally, the elf has been afraid of dragons due to a prior instance, but shes more relaxed because of Rurin and Serena goofing off.
Mc, Rurin, Serena, and Elena briefly visit the elf village due to a small problem with another dragon (golden dragon).

Mc and Rurin also managed to visit the modern world, Mc’s original world. Both of them got stronger, so their magic was able to do more as well. They got transported by mistake, but stayed for like a week in the modern world.
Now that mc was there, his only purpose was to visit his parents. But.. both of his parents are now dead(?), so now he has no reason to be there anymore. He tried going back asap, but the mana regen in modern world is different. They basically went sightseeing/food tour in the modern world until they had enough mana to go back
Wow, i started reading a mtl version of the novel, and the manhwa cut out quite a bit. Or reordered some scenes for different sequencing. Some scenes had some changes, or more emotion in the novel, makes sense i guess. The novel spoke about the stepmother attempting to hang herself, and mc saved her while she was hanging from the ropes. That started the heart to heart with stepmom and the blond hair kid.
I still like the manhwa a lot though, it just doesnt show the emotional connection as well as the novel, like between mc and the dragon for example. Novel is a bit difficult reading, but there’s many scenes that weren’t adapted in the manhwa
