mannn i used to love this so much because of penelope's conflict and the angst but the "demon possessing og FL brainwashing MLs" is such a boring and lazy trope to me it completely takes away the complexity of the villain and their cunning i feel like. theyre not manipulating making use of their surroundings or devising plans to get in the FLs way its just brainwash and boom! making them a demon is lame too because the ogFLs motives become so ?? lame ?? like yea the demon is evil idgaf ! i still love this story tho penelope my love,,,
