Because they'll most likely become the second couple. It's a common trope, introduce two characters who work together to try get the main couple to break up and be with them instead, but they fall for each other while working together

I think I find it a little weird to even try to have another alpha and what is either another omega or beta I don’t rmemebr who is in love with the ML- they already bonded- there is no way to compete against that- If I remember correctly they are fated pairs so unless those two are willing a to either kill the MC or ML or know how to perform surgery to remove the bone those two literally have no change in hell
