This is such a great reminder. I was once in a friend's apt and someone claiming to be her neighbor is in the intercom (my friend was showering). I was almost reflexively open the door but then I decided to ask her first and apparently she didn't know that guy at all. We called the police but that guy is gone already. My friend decided to move apartment afterwards.
Quick lesson kids!
I don’t care whose house you are in. If it’s someone you don’t know don’t let them in your house. If you are in someone else’s house, they aren’t there, and someone wants to come in and claims they know them. Tell them to come back later or to wait outside. I don’t care if the person knocking on the door is Jesus himself, don’t open that damn door.
I feel like this is supposed to be common sense but I read it way too much so hence the PSA.
