Well it is a 2 month journey in sea and then several weeks of traveling by horse or carriage so
no it was two months total
I recheck the traveling is 2 month for boat and carriage! You can see it in the 2 first chapter. The traveling takes two months but there's clearly a bit of carriage not a few hours

They didn't come so the emperor couldn't know about them coming to his country, he did order to kill the informants but that has nothing to do with those gotrof guy who worked before with the ex empress
