It kinda became an obsession i feel, cant blame him tho given his circumstance.
Yeah, I have mixed feelings bc I applaud him for wanting to use his power and life to help her gain control over hers but to claim that it’s the purest love or smth by sifting through women (one who he clearly has feelings for but technically I guess they aren’t real feelings since she isn’t Marianne??) is just not it lol. Maybe if he’d been upfront by saying that he was only looking for Marianne (not that it was a secret lol) it would be fine but since Obsidian never claimed to be Marianne and he’s just going off on his own it feels like he’s leading her on somehow (?) if any of that mess of text makes any sense lol
Somehow Platinum’s obsession with Marianne is both shitty and pure. Like great he changed his whole life to be a better person bc of her but also that means even if he does fall in love with someone else he’s just going to be like haha jk
