I didnt have much information about colon cancer before reading this manga and i looked at the symptoms online and i have all of those symptoms except weight loss and loss of appetite... I had endoscopy in january because of my gastritis but the doctor brushed it off saying nothing was wrong and i was scared to get a colonoscopy idk what to think after reading this manga. I hope it isn't something like this

Please ask your doctor if a colonoscopy is right for you. Check your family medical history, document your symptoms and how often they occur. Colon cancer is a sneaky shit. I've now lost 3 family members to it. My grandma, my uncle, and my father in law. My hubby had polyps so he gets regularly screened every 3 yrs as his dad died from a genetic colon cancer. My son is 17 and his doctors are aware. I'm waiting on an ok from insurance for genetic testing for them both. In all 3 cases the cancer was very aggressive. My grandma died within a year, my uncle within 4 mo, my father in law lasted a year and a half. He just gave up the fight. Between the costs and the deterioration of his quality of life, he just stopped all treatment and went into hospice. If you have a worry, document, and talk to your general practioner. Good luck!
