You're not wrong. But I'm wondering if there was something else he did that kinda made Kangwoo go "this person is it." Usually with these manhwas, the victim does something small like smile at the abuser or pick up a dropped item and returned it. That kinda stuff.
Im assuming it’s due to heewon stalking him it made kangwoo feel special I guess. I’m assuming kangwoos past is heavily centered around neglect and betrayal which is why he treats heewon that way he’s trying to control the one thing that made him feel special to someone
