With the animosity that Askan has against our FL, simply leaving him alone wouldn't work out in her favor. There is still enough damage done towards him to kill her if he got the chance to escape from the family. It was obvious he still had intentions of not letting her get away with the og's misdeeds.
With how things are going, taming him would be better than letting him have the opportunity to escape later on and kill her like in the original story.
Well I just don’t like that. Honestly, I think it would’ve been if she left him alone. I don’t think he would’ve had a problem if she just randomly left him alone. It at least didn’t hurt to see if leaving him alone would be fine. It’s better than just suddenly turning a new leaf and be creeply nice to him all of a sudden. I’m just tired of mcs purposely trying to tame somebody like they a dog instead. Emotions aren’t like that. It gives me second-hand embarrassment. I don’t wanna see that.
Still, chances are there, he would still kill her if she were to random ignore him and leave him alone. It was best chance of survival to "turn a new leaf" and give Askan a better life than the og villainess. If this was before Askan arrived at the mansion, then yes... She could have left him alone but it wasn't.

I get that but desperate times calls for desperate measures. You wouldn't be able to think clearly and act accordingly when you don't know the full extent of the og villainess' abuse towards him or her surroundings just like the recent chapter showed up. You can never be too careful to play your cards right.

Absolutely agree, I'm tired of this too and by now I can't be the only one to notice that you can no longer find all the spoilers on novel Updates anymore. They went after those pages and deleted them....
I can't even screen for dirty garbage behavior anymore, so end up wasting a bunch of time dropping stories left and right after finding myself skipping chapters to check in advance...
It's annoying that we have to waste out time/life trying to filter these copypasta cruddy garbage plagiarized stuff. They all copypasta the bad points of each others stories now and it's usually one good one per 25 novels I try. Just made it to chapter 12 of this novel, it's another trash.

I relate sooo much... I'd understand if she was reborn there since a baby or just got memories of past life in the accident. But I see no reason for her to be THAT attached to the family in the current situation. And I hate when mc gets too obsessed with OgLeads and OgPlot.
She could apologized and left the capital to live her own life under the guise of recovering. And honestly my first thought was: great! Getting rid of Askan would probably solve all the problems she was worried about. Or at least have a 90% chance of it. Yet she choses the hard and dumb way.
I hate this comics where I get myself thinking: girl, were you really a modern adult woman? You act so much like a dumb bish I don't know how can they portray you as intelligent. I dislike mcs that are dumb, nosy or naive... and boy she hit the bingo all the way. I'll probably drop this.
I’m so annoyed. I had high hopes based on her personality from the beginning. I thought she was just going to do what she want and not mind what she did before she transmigrated, but just not do what the og did. Like she seemed nonchalant and didn’t mind whatever was going on. After learning what she did to the ml, I was hoping she wouldn’t choose to randomly start being nice to him, just leave him alone. But nah she decides to bother sucking up to him. Ugh I’m so disappointed. Like she didn’t have to suddenly be nice to him, and why did she not think that he’ll be uncomfortable with her just suddenly switching up when she was literally cruel the other day? It became the same as every other reincarnated villainess who tries to turn a new leaf with their killer/ml.
