I only hope that the backstory will make him a more interesting character and not just "people were mean to me so I'm gonna be mean to everyone else" maybe development of narcissim or this isn't the first time he's done this kind to someone like Doc Dan and that he's been through this before and it's a neverending cycle of loneliness and feeling like a sack of shit as he pushes everyone who cares about him away leaving him lonely and pitiful but people can't help but be attracted to him because of his skills and proffession so it keeps happening as people fall in love with the idea of him so he just acts like an asshole as a way to instantly crush peoples expectations of him. Something interesting like that not saying I want him to be redeemed just want some context on WHY he's a dick.

ain't that deep when you don't realize that there are actually ppl who sell their body to pay for their basic needs and it's not unusual...do u think it's a fun job? and for starters, Dan may consent to it as he's desperate, but try to put yourself on his shoes, it goes way deeper than ur mental health when you morally degrade urself. It's a good thing that Dan is made a STRONG PERSON, a real strong person, who ain't a world mma champ but a WARRIOR in LIFE. These kinds of ppl are survivors in harsh reality. also props to author who is good at her craft that even makes both fans and neutrals react this much.

The author about to show up with back stories as if it would really matter with how bad jk attitude is. You mean to tell me he was bullied before or his parents never loved him so he's like that??? Girl, cut the cameras. Dan himself didn't exactly had everything. he had a rough life too, he still do, and he's still the sweetest kindest person!!! I would really like it if this one would be finish with jk trying to win Dan back but Dan become somewhat successful and he doesn't like jk anymore.
