I get what you mean but I’m pretty sure that in her eyes, the reason her dad died was because those unreasonable people they were trapped with kept urging her dad to go out, even though he’s not that strong. If he never left he might’ve still been alive. And her grandma that kept on taking advantage of her dad because he’s a hunter even tho he’s one of the lowest ranked ones. Even her mom reinforced that idea at the funeral when she was blaming her grandma and told her not to be like her dad (or at least that’s what I got out of the rough translation). You know with great power comes great responsibility and she knew that, that’s why she refused at first. She’s not super righteous but I don’t think she’s wrong per se. She’s been hiding her identity and if you know that everything’s going to be settled and no one will be hurt then why is it so bad that she didn’t help. and when she was convinced that it would be dangerous she helped. She’s highly respected and revered so I’m sure she’s saved plenty of lives already. Sorry for the long response, I just like her character.
tbh the translation is rlly throwing me off ans i lowmey hate the mc. I vet the reason behind her laid backness, but if ur dad died from irresiponsible hunters shouldnt u be the opposite???? like within the first few chpts she left that huge rift when ppl were in danger, shes not any better than the hunters that killled her das
