I feel like it’s complicated. In another universe I could see them together, but his guilt towards redheads mom and the guilt of his negative reaction to redhead essentially coming out overpowers everything else, not to mention that guy became a straight up asshole and ruined any chance he had. Its clear the MC has (or had) some kind of attachment to him though, because of how close they once were.

This is pm how I feel. It’s clear he doesn’t respect the MC at all and has treated him poorly. The MC still cares about Joohyuk on some level, but recognizes it’s better for himself to cut him out of his life (which is what he did this chapter)(of course whether Joohyuk actually respects eunoh’s wishes and stays away from him is another story)

But authors don't always have a formula for their writing otherwise, they'll become predictable and boring. So, i this follows the same plot as Antii PT, then, that will be boring.

No not always but most of the time..jinx is just the same. literally everyone knew that dan would disappear and that JK would start suffering, just like in BJ Alex ^^
Not every author needs shock value or super unique storylines besides a lot of people just want to read some simpel, lighthearted stuff and the authors know that too
