I guess I can understand how Mugyeong think that only Yohan loved him that much, but, at the same times I don't think that's the right thing to say.
The lesson I get from reading so much romance, if you bring down yourself too much, it wears down your partner too. It hard to be confident and look up your partner when what they do is look down on themselves.
Yohan want to communicate his worry and his uncomfort. But the way Mugyeong handles it with saying he himself isn't that much likable when Yohan knows that it's not true.
And if the author is using all the cliche route, that other guy IS making advances at Mugyeong.
