Same..some of them quality from 2/10 become 10/10 when it become a donghua ..for example The tale of Herding God..damn the manhua is so old and the artstyle is like wannabe artist but the donghua damnnn.. I'm so addicted and it's my only top 1 series that I never stop watching even when I got busy
couldn't agree more, i also think that maybe the animators are following what they look in the novel more (I haven't checked the swallowed star novel but almost chinese novels really do describe characters majestically) or for the sake of more popularity nowadays, and i don't think that they have to necessarily follow the manhuas in animations. i think some people/us got used to japan animes the first time we discover donghuas.
I can't seem to finish this manhwa bcs of what he looks like IM SORRY wdym he looks like a twink even when he practice karate or something and constantly training in narrow corridors BEFORE he got to extreme martial club. THE DONGHUA FOR ME IS MUCH ACCURATE, the muscles is ON POINT! YES HAHAHAHAHAHA it's us and in the world of fiction we crave conventionally attractive mcs AS WE SHOULD and they keep feeding us.
