So after his ordinary life ends, he can go be the god of death, start a new life, allow his soul to enter "oblivion", or whatever else he wants.

just to be clear i am not against him having as close to an ordinary life as he can because gods know that just a fraction of what he has been through has been hell. i do feel that people don’t acknowledge enough the reasons why he was fighting for his life because he was poor and society left him to struggle for the survival of his family without any support (product of capitalism) and on top of that treated him like shit because he was an e ranker thus weak (product of cishetero patriarchy glorifying physical strength). my point is that he suffered under these sociopolitical institutions that stole so much of his life from him and stopped caring about them when it was no longer him that was suffering. he saved the whole world to leave it to rot. his whole shtick was being a protector so why didn’t he become a paramedic or an educator or run a one man foundation to stop young adults like he once was crumbling with no one to help them and a society that refuse to. he has survived the unbelievable but couldn’t find a way to live a normal life whilst doing something worthwhile with his powers? no. sung jinwoo in his immortal super strength leader of unkillable work force glory topped off the indifference shit cake with being a guard dog for the rich.
