Yes like the way he made cirrus hide in the MacDonalds... It isn't a crime to go eat with your friends it doesn't mean you're in a relationship but his brain was so badly rewired from the bullying that he can't think rationally.
Romance is good and everything but yk what needs to happen? The friendgroup to learn that skylar and cirrus are going out and them be totally chill about it. It would heal skylar more that anything else can.
