LOL, this comment makes me feel so O L D . bAcK iN mY DaY (aka, 10-13 years ago when I got into manga/webtoons) it was common to have to wait for months or YEARS for the next chapter to come out, because there was no such thing as official online sources
these days its still like that for a lot of manga.
i cant think of a single ongoing manga that i read that gets updated weekly.
Manga is definitely still like that for the most part compared to webtoons, yeah--though there's a bit of improvement for some of them since there *are* official online sources! It just takes months and months for the next chapter to release, lol (Tho, to be fair, a chapter of manga covers a LOT more content than a webtoon chapter, and I don't want to kill the artist/author from overwork . As long as I know I'm gonna get my chapter, I'm Happy!(ish) ;p)
