As someone who reads plenty of stories of obsessive ML who initially only wanted to use the mc in the beginning- this likely is one of those stories where the ML is actually in love with the MC over time. It may not be realistic but that’s just how fictional love is.
I still feel uneasy about how Limon was essentially gonna get rid of him at the beginning when he himself was still a child but held somehow since he saw some use of Inferna..and it comes across to me as what they show us as "love" of Limon developed throughout the years training is just some infatuation and reciprocity of Inferna's loyalty
