as a glasses wearing person myself...my darn glasses gets dirty easily so I often take them off for a quick wipe you would've thought he would clean his glasses in front of him every once in a while lmao
They've been hanging out with each other for 2 years and not once has he cleaned his glasses in front of him?! No way unless he has some kind of magical shield that allows no dirt to stick on that glasses

I just wipe the dirt off my glasses while wearing them it's so bothersome to take it off and try to adjust my eyes to the surroundings ig the mc was the same way

My glasses also get dirty super quickly but i kinda slowly get used to how blurry it is that I don’t notice it until I take it off for bed. If something too noticeable ends up on my lenses, I’m looking down while wiping because I’m using my shirt or dress and I wanna make sure I get everything off in one go while not flashing anyone. The only time I might possibly be cleaning and possibly able to look at eye level is when I’m in my room and I got access to my cleaning spray and wipe but even then I’m pretty focussed on wiping thoroughly.

So he might be similar to me or he has an invisible window wiper on his glasses that periodically wipes his lenses while he’s wearing it.
