He didn't murder them. The couple planned to kill Diana by poisoning her tea. Kael found out about it and made them drink their own poisoned tea instead. It's his own version of justice.

I reread the first chapter, it says that Cael summary execute the family of villains by using the crimes they did and Helios knows it and their crimes.

It says “Using the corruption and the crimes of the Orcus family… he induced them to drink poisoned tea.” Where does it say he used their crimes against them??? It’s incredibly vague, it gave me the impression that he forced them to drink poisoned tea using the justification of their crimes. What crimes? Where does it say they tried to poison her?

Summary execute/execution means killing (poison,shooting/any kind to murder)for he/anyone/they think it was justified.(I just summarized what I read)in short he(Kael) really (kill)poison the Orcus family.
Crimes? Well in chapters 10-31/somewhere there Hestia mentions of the crimes they commit. (If I remembered it correctly; slavery, poison making and it said on this chapter 1 that i reread earlier there were corruption).

But you know what, I also want to know their side of the story! As a villainess enthusiast I'm so into the story of a villainess! ( ̄∇ ̄") if there were/this another story, I will dive into it!
