The author is Zig .. their precious work is pretty similar too. I came in expecting things to go south real quick.

i remember reading this when it started and i used to be so excited for the new chapters in the early chapters, like both the mc and ml had distinctive personality and an interesting dynamic but after a bit they just reduced ceaser to the yandere ml trope and the mc who was supposed to be feisty and strong-headed with solid personal values just gave up on all of that and ended up bearing with whatever shit ceaser did (reminds me of when they take strong female characters and reduce them to just the guy’s wife ) and just shock value violence like there were a 100 better ways to do this story yet the author chose to go this route…
Right? I was like, "alright they just wanna draw rape scenes atp"
actually the first 30 something chapters were absolute peak i’m rereading and this is really a tragedy like why did we lose the plot… the characterisation… the relationship dynamic…
