I understand not liking romance since it annoys me in action manhwa too but your reasons are a bit...
saying you want a man in his early 30s to live alone for the rest of his life is really insensitive, his wife died five years ago and if she was half a good person she would want her lover to find love again once he has processed his grief.
Also romance definitely ain't the priority in this webtoon it doesn't take too much space, most of the chapters are still Davina taking care of Mikey.
Plus romance is literally the only tag of this webtoon (on mangago) you knew what you were getting into. I don't like harem so I'm not gonna read stuff with a harem tag, easy
No, it's not that he should be alone. I wouldn't mind it if the plot were that he finds someone, and Davina is a right hand person until the mission is done and she leaves to the next house, like a vigilante of nannies. That'd be so bad ass, a woman who doesn't have romance in the cards but she attacks, protects, plans, gathers Intel, like the bad ass she is. Love doesn't make her any less bad ass, simply, I would like a plot explored from that disinterest in romance pov.
I think that'd be great too! there isn't a lot of story (especially with a female protagonist) where there is no romance and just focuses on her adventure. I was just responding to op's comment, that particular manhwa has the romance tag in its presentation page so I think it's a bit ridiculous to be so mad about the love story haha
The reason I'm upset is that it hasn't even been half a year of her mission (1year) and she is already acting like a high school girl. Wtf? She got all that special training but at the first chance she gets all mushy? Make that make sense!
Also, I don't mind him or anyone wanting affection from someone else. I just want -for once- a story were they will act on logistics rather than splurge feelings.

On the other hand, I don't think her training entailed much psychological aspects. They don't show her like say...black widow. So she hasn't been all that exposed to men + the guy kinda touches her and is in her space a lot, that would make anyone self conscious.
Real. If anything, Gabriel is the unprofessional guy here. He has covered info (like with the murder), he is constantly in her space (like chest to chest), he is shirtless (a lot) but then gives her a key "for privacy" lmao, caresses her legs ??? He could have gotten someone to do the bandages and supervise if anything. My guy is just down bad.

Why!!!! Why does it have romance!? Ugh! Couldn't it been just a nanny so worried about her child and a dad hoping to save or at least have him mourned over his lost after finding out what did indeed happened to his beloved wife.
