Yeah, I am not surprised he said that as a kid. But he has grown up since then and still doesn't acknowledge that he blamed a wrong person for someone else's mistakes, in that sense he is not different from people he got mad at as a kid. I really don't like that hypocrisy.

First of all he was a kid at that time and he saw his parents suffering for no reason. He has every right to bend his anger. And what do you want him to act like "a pushover"? Who act like an angel even though he saw his parents suffering.
Lol was like that too, my friends mom named her debt towards my mom so I got so angry with her because we suffer so much due to that and my parent almost ended up to jail while they’re living so good. I would never regret getting mad at that friend. Coz she should apologize too. So as the kid in the story he should at least told his parents he was saved.
