Okay, I have to admit you've completely lost me there. What diet?

I think she means the National Diet (as in organization) which is Japan's legislature.
The politician did visit Eastern Europe. Good catch!

Good reminder. Remember awhile ago when someone didn't think the story was political?

Well, the political aspect is probably secondary to the action (and the action supports the erotica). The politics are there if you look for them, but they are not the primary focus of the story*

    *That would be Aki's butt

Well, yeah, but that whole argument was that there wasn't anything political in the story at all, when the underpinnings of the current arc are political.

Ooo-ooooh, okay! Thank you for clearing that up, Anoni, I had a total brain freeze there! I was thinking Atkins, Weight Watchers and Low Carb and THAT just didn't make sense, lol. ;) And good catch, reponce! I never noticed.

Regarding the story being politicial: I agree with Anonymous that there are definitely political undercurrents. Not just in the current arc, but also given the fact that Asami - very much like his father - is kind of like the "horse whisperer" of the shady world of business and politics. How this is all going to play out in the new volume? Let's wait and see. :)
